Dunedin Community Transport Trust

Funding was provided to support a shopping bus (the Plus Bus) that picks up clients from their own homes and takes them to their local supermarket and shopping area (as time permits - bank, chemist). This service aides older individuals or those that are disadvantaged with access to flexible and affordable transport in order to maintain links with essential services, social contacts and encourage independence and maintain wellbeing.
